This is a teaching practice, partnering with Dalhousie Family Medicine

Tantallon Community Medical Clinic welcomes medical students and residents at every level of their training

In affiliation with Dalhousie University and the Department of Family Medicine, we are participating in the teaching program for medical students and residents.

Junior Medical Students are provided with clinical experience in using basic skills of the history and physical to organize differential diagnosis following the SOAP format.

Senior Medical Students are encouraged to further their diagnositic skills and engage in supervised patient care.

First Year Family Practice Residents are supervised in their clinical experience with patient assesment and management.

Second Year Family Practice Residents are able to gain experience and manage patient care autonomously.

Dr. Krista Thompson is an active preceptor who enjoys her role as teacher.
